Camps & Classes for Elementary and Middle School Students
Welcome to Squirrelly! We are happy to welcome your young artists and makers for an exciting collection of art experiences in our lovely new home. All of the classes below are geared to ages 5 to 12, held after school throughout the school year. With our new space, we also get to offer classes for Preschoolers, as well as dedicated classes for Teens, 'Tweens and Adults. Also, check out our Classes for The Whole Family here!

Paint & Create Like the Modern Masters
​
We'll kick off the school year learning about fascinating modern artists like Yayoi Kusama, Cindy Sherman, Keith Haring, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, Mark Rothko, David Hockney, Andy Warhol, and more! Then, we'll get to work copying their art, diving into drawing, painting, and photography. We'll also build an actual portfolio (a big folder with handles) that these young artists can use to hold their growing collection (except for the masterpieces that end up on the wall!) Register :)

This five-week series is an eclectic collection of art experiences that you and your kids will love! We'll do some clay handbuilding and create and glaze a lovely Thanksgiving platter, we'll spend time learning about Northwest Coast Native American art and draw and paint with Formline Design. Finally, we'll have fun with two spooky Halloween projects: a spooky spell book box (think poetry, painting and collage in one!) and candy mosaics! So much fun! Register now!

It's our favorite time of the year! Your children will try new art forms (sculpt, paint, collage and more) and create 4-5 lovely, unique gifts for family and friends, wrapped and ready to give. And, you will receive some special treats to treasure for years to come. Your child will be so excited and proud of the gifts they create, and your holiday shopping (especially for the grandparents!) will be nearly done! Register here!

Thanksgiving Week Camps: Surprise Holiday Gift Making
​
Kids, get a jump on your holiday gift giving! Join us for one or two or all four of the camps below! Projects are a surprise, but kids will go home from each one with a special, unique, hand-made gift for a loved one, wrapped and ready to give! (Register for both morning and afternoon, and you are welcome to join us for lunch at no additional charge. Before/after care also available!)

Note about Class Times: We aim to provide classes at varied times each day in hopes to accomodate everyone. If you don't find a class time that works for your child, please email info@squirrellyworkshop.com to tell us what is ideal for you. We may be able to adjust class times during the season. Also, all classes have a 15 minute "start-time window" to allow kids to settle, and give families plenty of time to get here. For example, if a class is scheduled to start at 3:30pm, the main project instructions should begin about 3:45pm. Thank you for your feedback anytime!
