2023 Summer Camps for Kids!
Come spend a week with Squirrelly this summer, diving into art experiences ranging from ceramics, mural painting and Japanese anime to candy-making, woodworking, and concocting bath bombs. Choose mornings, afternoons, or bring a lunch and stay all day (no charge for the lunch hour)! All camps run Monday through Thursday and have an option for before and after care. (Please indicate in the notes when you register if you'd need before/after care.) Most camps are great for ages 6-12, with a few geared to ages 9-14 (see camp descriptions.) July 10 - 13

This week we'll celebrate the ways food and art play so well together! We'll create edible works of art, from elaborate cakes and pizzas to beautiful sushi rolls. And, we'll let food inspire us as we draw, paint, print and sculpt (including special ceramic cereal bowls with surprises inside!) FULL*

Plein Air Painting and More Outdoor Arts, 1:00-3:30pm
In the afternoon, we'll take our palettes to the park and paint landscapes, create large scale "land art", find patterns in nature, have fun with photography, and let nature inspire us as we draw, paint and create. $275

July 17 - 20
We'll let our creative brains take a trip to Japan for the week and celebrate this beautiful, rich culture. From Shibori indigo dyeing and Gyotaku fish printing to Anime comic drawing and sushi making, kids will love the projects and have some wonderful treats and wearable art to bring home. FULL*

Ceramics and Sculpture (week 1 of 2), 1:00-3:30pm
Choose to attend this camp for one week or two! In order to allow time for clay to dry, be fired, then glazed, it's awesome to have two weeks to create some amazing finished works of art. If you just have one week, we'll pack it with handbuilding, sgraffito carving, and glazing bisqueware -- super fun clay exploration! $525 for two weeks, $295 for Week 1 only. FULL*
July 24 - 27

World Travelers, 9:30am - Noon
Open your mind to imagine travelling to a different continent each day, learning and creating art from other cultures! We'll visit Australia, Italy, Asia and South America -- then get inspired to paint, cook, create with textiles, make jewelry and toys and more! $275

Lotions, lip balms, bath bombs, soap and even candles and ceramic votive holders. Plenty of products to keep and share! And plenty of time for visual arts in between. $275.

Bus Stop, Candy Shop, 1:00-3:30pm
